Soundscape Records and Live Fact are thrilled to present Kings of Convenience – Live in Malaysia on 7 March 2024 at JioSpace! Returning with their first new music in 12 years, the Bergen, Norway-based indie pop duo have announced their long-anticipated forthcoming album, Peace or Love, which was released on June 18 via EMI Records.

Kings of Convenience teamed singer/guitarist Erik Glambek Bøe and guitarist Erlend Øye. After first earning notice thanks to a series of acclaimed European festival appearances during the summer of 1999, the twosome signed to American label Kindercore to issue their lovely eponymous debut the following spring.

Their fourth album, Peace Or Love, saw the duo pick up where they left off, making us swoon with their classy, bossa-nova inspired indie earworms. It was so nice to have them back here after their last headline show in 2010.

Peace or Love, sounds as fresh as spring: 11 songs about life and love with the alluring beauty, purity and emotional clarity that you would expect from Kings of Convenience. It is the sound of two old friends exploring the latest phase of their lives together and finding new ways to capture that elusive magic. If it took a lot longer than they expected, well, so be it. The results justify the process.

Peace may be hard to find but you can hear the love.

End is perhaps the “grandest” Explosions in the Sky album – melding the quiet restraint and crushing feel of their early releases with the sonic texturing and ornate experimentation of their later releases, and their increasingly deep film and television scoring catalog, influenced by personal tastes stretching from classical to soul to experimental ambient music.
The End Tour” this spring, bringing their legendary live show experience to 26 cities around the world in 2023.

End is the band’s seventh, but not final, studio album.
