Vials started off with the name ‘Scarlet Gallery’ but changed it in 2006 when the music genre of the band kicked-off to a different direction. For those of you who just love kick back with good Indie music, you definitely missed the chance to tune your ears to Vials. Vials is a catchy blend of Brit pop, experimental, shoegaze, and post rock that are unique in the eyes of its Malaysian peers.
Watching their live set, it’s pretty clear that they have quite a strong grasp on writing anthemic British indie tunes a la Coldplay, Elbow and bands of that ilk, with a little bit of that dance-y post-punk guitar work sometimes thrown in for good measure.
